This three gallery contemporary museum, founded in 1911, features an ongoing schedule of regional and national exhibits, in addition to selections from its permanent collection. The museum welcomes the opportunity to plan a tour especially for your group including school classes, scout troops, senior citizen groups, community organizations and businesses. Guided tours are given by trained docents and we can tailor tours to any age, school curriculum, special needs and special interests.

Clay Critters was created in 1978 when a hobby was turned into a business. Today, handcrafted, unbreakable ‘critters’ including marine life, wildlife, reptiles, fruits and flowers are made into magnets. Come see the magnets come to life from the beginning sketches to the final personalization process. Everyone goes home with their own magnet and there is the opportunity to purchase more.

Glass blowing studio of flame work that showcases a gallery not only of glass but other art mediums as well. Demonstrations may show how to blow a glass ornament or create glass beads or maybe a small sculpture. Demonstration times vary and can be tailored to the group.

The Rueff Galleries present the works of students and faculty in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts and change every 1-3 weeks so there is always something new to enjoy. Participatory art and writing opportunities are presented regularly, as well as lectures by artists and historians. All Galleries exhibitions and events are free and open to the public. |

The John E. Christian House (1954), located in West Lafayette, Indiana, represents a pristine example of Frank Lloyd Wright's Usonian architecture. Still occupied by the original client and owner, Dr. John Christian, SAMARA is strictly maintained to the exacting standards set by Mr. Wright.

Founded in 1971, Twinrocker is the oldest contemporary hand mill in the USA, producing paper by hand the way it was made in the 1600s in Europe from cotton rag. Twinrocker makes artists’ papers, book papers and invitations.

The tour is educational with a talk about paper hisotry and the traditional craft of hand papermaking. The group watches papermakers form sheets of paper from preparing the pulp, coloring, etc. Avoid scheduling tours late in the afternoon as most of the work is done in the morning. |

A studio for those creative people who want to make objects that are uniquely personal. Select an unfinished pottery piece and then decide your own colors and design. Or if you prefer, make a fused glass piece. Then the store personnel will finish off your object and you return to pick up the completed masterpiece. Come by yourself, with a family member, a friend, or in a group. You also can have custom orders created for you, buy a gift at the shop or arrange to take a class. A child friendly studio (with tot room) is a great place for everyone from 2-92. Come in and create.
